Maitland Ward

Maitland Ward arrived in adult entertainment with a level of mainstream recognition almost nobody else gets to bring with them. The red hair was already part of her public image, but her move into porn turned that familiar look into a much more provocative adult persona. Her Blacked debut was a major industry moment, and her subsequent work across Vixen Media Group established that she was not simply making a one-off celebrity appearance. Brazzers adds another major studio destination, while VixenPlus opens the wider VMG catalogue. She may have a shorter adult filmography than several women below her, but her popularity and crossover X-factor are enormous.

Ward's move from mainstream acting into adult entertainment attracted intense attention, but she has continued to speak about the decision as a purposeful change of career. Her professional story is unusual precisely because the transition was public and deliberate.
